As the Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School encourages students to pursue all of their dreams, it knows that many of its students want to continue their learning at a community college or university. In order to help these dreams become a reality, the School offers multiple scholarships to students every year through the University Bound Student Program.
There is a highly competitive application and selection process including acquiring recommendations from instructors, crafting an essay, and interviews. Successful applicants must demonstrate a high level of commitment and planning for their future plans. The Supportive Services Department raises funds for scholarships by partnering with other community agencies and also holding fundraising events specifically for scholarships. At least three to four times a year, the Supportive Services staff works with students to organize fun, social events and novelty sales for the entire student body. Everyone is invited to come together, dance, enjoy, and share in the fun, all the while helping to raise funds for the University Bound Student Program.
