Wednesday: (6:00pm - 9:00pm)
Saturday: (9:00am - 12:00pm)

Available on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, this course prepares students to pass the test to become a naturalized citizen of the United States. Only those who have lived in the country for four (4) years or more and have achieved some language proficiency (ie: “a beginning level of English language proficiency”) are admitted to the class, since the citizenship test and the formal interview are administered in English only. This class will remain open until full.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must live in Washington DC
Complete registration
Successful completion of English as a Second Language (ESL) Level 2 or demonstrate the equivalent English Language Proficiency
Students who have been US residents for five (5) years are eligible to apply for US citizenship
ID Fee - $20
The citizenship test and interview are administered in English only(Some exceptions based on age, and length of time in country)
