Fall 2020 Semester – Resources & Information

Students, we are here for you to succeed in your education! The Carlos Rosario School will be 100% virtual for the Fall semester and the first day of school is August 31. We will hold some in-person time to ensure that everyone is ready and prepared to continue distance learning!  If you are in one of the below classes, then you will receive this support for a short period of time:

We will bring you to School so we can spend some time with you and make sure you are ready and prepared to continue distance learning!

  • Sonia Gutiérrez Campus:  
    • Culinary Arts Academy
    • Nurse Aide Training

Please know that we will have limited staff and students in our buildings. Anyone coming into the school must adhere to our health and safety guidelines. Read below for more information.

You will receive additional detailed instructions before August 31 so that you’re ready to participate from day one!

Health and Safety Guidelines

Anyone coming into our buildings must adhere to our health and safety guidelines, including: 

  • Requiring the use of masks or face coverings at all times
  • Requiring a daily health screening (temperature and symptoms) each time anyone comes into our buildings

  • Stay home if you are feeling sick and let your teacher know you will be absent.  Contact your doctor if you have fever, cough, or shortness of breath.
  • If you think you have been exposed to Coronavirus, please contact your healthcare provider as soon as possible.
  • Visit https://coronavirus.dc.gov to stay up to date with relevant and trusted information
