Tuesdays & Thursdays Evenings (6:00pm-9:00pm)
Through this 6-month program, students develop leadership skills, safety awareness, and a deeper understanding of career paths in the construction industry. Students build practical skills and knowledge reading blueprints, using construction math, and practicing professional communication. Students earn an OSHA 30 safety certification.
This bilingual, Spanish-English, pre-apprenticeship program is for students with experience in the construction industry who want to continue on to enroll in apprenticeship programs, establish a small business as a contractor, or pursue higher education in construction. It is open to applicants from DC, Maryland, and Virginia with an intermediate level of English.
