Construye DC+ PROGRAM

Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays                                                                                         
Harvard Street Campus

Through this bilingual, Spanish-English 6-month construction program, students develop leadership skills, safety awareness, and a deeper understanding of career paths in the construction. Students build practical skills and knowledge reading blueprints, using construction math and earn an OSHA 30 safety certification.

Construction

Graduates will have opportunities to advance in the following skilled trades or business areas:

  • Carpentry
  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
  • Masonry
  • Home Improvement Contractor License
  • General Contractor
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Construye DC is open to applicants from DC, Maryland, and Virginia

Requirements:

  • Experience in construction or related background preferred
  • Intermediate English level assessment
  • Spanish (native speaker)
  • Advising session with program lead or designee
