Community Language Classes
Fall 2020 registration for Spanish and Amharic classes is now open
Spanish for Non-Spanish Speakers
Class start date: Saturday, September 19th, 2020
Location: Classes will be offered virtually
Saturdays 9:30am-12:30pm
Spanish classes are offered in three levels: beginning, intermediate, and advanced. The beginning class instructs students in basic vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and reading. The intermediate class focuses on a variety of communication activities to develop verbal skills for everyday life. Lastly, the advanced class includes activities to enhance students’ understanding and ability to participate in conversations regarding local and global issues.

- Fee: $275.00 for 15 weeks
Introductory Amharic
Class start date: Saturday, September 19th, 2020
Location: Classes will be offered virtually
Saturdays 9:30am-12:30pm
This is an introductory level class for students who have never studied Amharic. We will learn the basics of the alphabet, vocabulary, and grammar necessary to have simple conversations. Ethiopian cultural considerations and traditions will also be covered.
